GDT and the Hobbit in the NYT

Post by Mirimaran »

Hi all,

Here is an excellent article concerning GDT and his life, and a brief section on some of his Hobbit ideas that I don't think will make it to the screen. Enjoy!

Thank God he abandoned the idea! It wold just have been an absolute nightmare! I am lost for words...

Del Toro is brilliant in his own way, but I agree that his artistic tendencies are probably a little dark and abstract for the Hobbit.

Wow...

That is rather disturbing. I'm glad he's off the project.
