Swiss backpack

Post by mcapanelli »

Mae Govannen

As the title states I have a swiss WWII surplus back pack lying around in my closet I'd like to get rid of. I'll be posting pics tonight for those interested. It has leather straps already attached, but the frame is made of metal so I think it'd have to be removed. If anyones interested just let me know.

Bummer, after all this talk of packs I just went out and got one from one of those sites listed in the other thread.
Many evil things there are that your strong walls and bright swords do not stay.
You know little of the lands beyond your bounds.
Peace and freedom, do you say?
The North would have known them little but for us.

Here's the pictures. There's someone in line first but if he doesn't take it the first $10 plus shipping does.

What appears to be some sort of yellow marker is wear from seeing service in WWII that for whatever reason is showing up yellow in the pictures. I picked up three of them on ebay last year in an attempt to make my own back pack. Pete came to my rescue and saved the life of this last one.

I can't perfectly see from the pictures, but does it have the leather bottom?
