A strange source for elk antler...

Post by Mirimaran »

Hi all,

I was in our local Food Lion (a grocery store chain) in the dog food aisle and I was very surprised to find elk antler packaged and being sold for dog chews! They had several different shapes, points and pieces thick enough for buttons and knife handles. They are being sold for $8.99 a piece, is that a good price for antler?

I saw deer antler at my pet store last week, too. It's a great chew. 8.99 might be a little steep, but they're usually good quality, and you'll save on shipping, so find a piece you like the look of, and get to it!
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.
