Hello all,
My name is Andrew and I'm from Northern California. I really like all the information that is contained within these pages. Growing up reading the books it is nice to see that there are other people out there that it had such a profound effect on as well. I recently got out of the United States Navy and now I have a lot more time to spend in the woods. As far as my interests go I would say I prefer realism and not role playing or re-enacting.
I consider myself a modern day ranger and as such I do not dress in period, but I have and continue to train in the old ways. I travel light and minimalist, but I do carry modern items depending on my mission. I hope that I can contribute to the boards here and maybe find some people that are of a like mind.
