MRL Deal of the day

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

$25 a piece, I've never had one of these, but at this price, I'm tempted

MAN! If I hadn't just spent money at Tandy today on some things I would love to pick up a couple of these. Sigh, Oh well.

I threw a few these this weekend and we broke a handle rather unexpectedly. A nice hickory replacement would be a better match but the head is very sound and a nicely ballanced peice.

You won't be sorry, you can get handles from many sources if needed at all, (Ragnar being one highly recommended) But the head is nice and as a whole it throws very well.

I have this peice and it is very nice I was told it was made by Windlass and I have it mounted on a very sturdy shaft. Good deal!

Aw dang! I just said how much I generally avoid leather hoods on another thread, but I do love the look of this one! Great movie too (despite what critics said). $55 is a great deal for it too, but sadly still too rich for my blood (especially since I just bought new linen and wool to make new summer and winter hoods, respectively).

Yeah I like this one too, I got a long suede skirt I was going to repurpose into almost this exact hood, may be worth just buying it at that price!
