SOLD
I have 1 Sherwood bracer from Ravenswood leather that I would like to sell. It has minor scuffing from shooting off the hand. I am asking $35 shipped in U.S. Thanks.

Fair enough. The main reason I've wanted one of those for a while was so I could reverse-engineer it anyway. I'd like to make something similar, but with my own flair. I wish I knew someone who owned one so I could borrow it and try to figure out a pattern.

Our own Gondian has a version of that that is very nice look back on his original posts I think he makes them for purchase.

How's the range of motion in it? Would you be able to switch to a sword in that hand and not have too much trouble?

It was a little stiff but I don't think it would interfere to much. This bracer was probably over engineered wit two layers of leather. The one I made has one layer of veg tan and it is just fine.Yavion wrote:How's the range of motion in it? Would you be able to switch to a sword in that hand and not have too much trouble?

I've had mine for about a month now, I'll be posting pictures of my new gear soon. It is stiff at first but after wearing it for a while and working my wrist in it, it's softenned up a bit and doesn't constrict too much. Only problem I have is making it tight enough to not slip down slightly. It feels like it needs adjusting around the wrist area even if it truly doesn't.Yavion wrote:How's the range of motion in it?
