So. Taur'Amandil...Forest Folk of Aman.
After perusing my Elvish sources and contemplating the way words flow, I changed the term for Druids to 'Green Dwellers', or 'Dwellers of the Green'. That comes out to 'Calan' (green), and 'Bar' (to dwell). This flows much better, I think, and works well to boot. Mileage may vary....this is mine.
I steer clear of the term Istari...even though its meaning is applicable. It carries too much of Gandalf and Saruman, and those heights I have not and never will reach. Just a hedge druid. In this photo; Ranger garments in the faded green tunic and nutmeg pants, the toggle boots (unseen), the green belt, the new green hat, rutched back since I like that look better (still needs a sweat band and tie ribbons), the rowan staff that I have yet to really do anything to. No weapons in this pick, although that stick is well seasoned.....

EDIT: It worked. Go me.

Re: Taur'Amandil
Very nice! I commend you for avoiding the term "Istari" as it conjures up certain expectations...
There are no safe paths in this part of the world. Remember you are over the Edge of the Wild now, and in for all sorts of fun wherever you go.

I second that - the hat is fantastic! Did you make it?Elleth wrote:Ha! Lurve the hat.
