As promised, maps for sale!
First, the important bits: I got my website up and running at http://www.ShepherdCartography.com. It's a multipurpose site, but the store page is most relevant here--the maps that were born on this forum. Use the coupon code DUNEDAIN at checkout for 10% off, which at the time of writing is wholesale pricing.
I know that the appeal of maps is rather geographically-tied, and as far as I know the only other member who was in my neck of the woods has since emigrated elsewhere, but perhaps there are other Californians lurking around that I'm not aware of who would be interested in my local maps. I'm also working on expanding my catalog, so requests for areas that might have broader appeal and/or commissions are quite welcome.
Here are the first two maps, Point Reyes:
And Yosemite:
The Lost Coast is up next--an area with the best fantasy-style toponyms an anachronistic cartographer could ask for!
It's been quite a journey, from the first primitive sketch for this forum that put me in mind of fantasy-style maps of real places as being something that might have appeal. Thank you all for your inspiration and advice along the way!

Nice work

I'm in the Midwest now, yes, but Druin's up in Chico and may have an interest. I'll poke him about it.
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

My beautiful Dragons Wood Inn map that you made for me is framed and waiting for me to finish my "Dungeons & Dragons Game Room" refinish of my basement. However, I had another copy printed at a professional printer's, and am going to mount it to a board with clear shellac for hanging in the selfsame Inn.

These are brilliant Sierra, If ever I get a consistent local patch a map would be awesome.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.

New map! This one is of the Lost Coast Trail, and has some of the most fantastic "fantasy' toponyms of any real place I've seen; with names like "Whitethorn", "Shelter Cove" "The King Range" and "The Lost Coast" for that matter, you could practically run a D&D campaign on this map without people realizing it's a real place!
