That looks identical to a set my father-in-law just gave me for my birthday. Cool-looking, but long and heavy. I think they'd be unwieldy to actually eat with.Mirimaran wrote:The reviews on that eating kit don't look to great.

Man, that's a nice price. Shaped somewhat like the Albion Sheriff, a sword I've been coveting of late.

Re: MRL Deal of the day
I urge anyone that's on the shelf to buy this sword. The price is fantastic for what is IMO the best windlass sword ever made. With just a minimal amount of elbow grease you can have a well built and great handling sword that will be able to hold its own against much more expensive swords.

I also have two of these semi customizied. They are real easy to customize: Mine have been rewrapped and have insets in the pommels.
Nice as a stand alone or w/customization

Hero's Sword This is a huge two hander- probably not what your typical Ranger would carry maybe Bert left it back in the Troll Cave

Still round the corner there may wait a new road or a secret gate and though I oft have passed them by a day will come at last when I shall take the hidden paths that run west of the moon, east of the sun.

Damn I missed this! I would have bought a brace of these, they do throw quite well and at that price it's a bargain!Peter Remling wrote:3/28 Frankish Throwing Axe $ 25.00
