Hunting Knife Conversion. From 20th century to 18th century.

A lot of reenactment level work is about learning appropriate historical crafts and skills. This board is for all general skills that don't have their own forum.

Knives can be expensive, and although many modern blades retain old design, the knife itself does not fit in with a more primitive interpretation. These videos will show you how I convert an inexpensive $2.00 second hand butcher knife into a knife I would be proud to carry (no special tools used, and only hand tools).

I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Love your youtube videos....very informative.
In the darkest part of Sherwoods glade, in the thickest part of the wood, there are those who say, can still be seen, the ghost of Robin Hood.
