Greetings and well met...
Hey, my name is Seth, but I've gone by Thes for sooo long online at various places it's almost like my actual name. I'm new to the Ranger community, but not to LOtR or being a country boy at heart. My family recently moved to the SE Indy area. I'm a transplant from rural Illinois, and spent many years of my youth in the woods and woodshop at my grandparents. I look forward to learning some things here and there and adding anything I may know...

Greetings, Seth!
Have you yet discovered fellow rangers lurking in your area?

There are no safe paths in this part of the world. Remember you are over the Edge of the Wild now, and in for all sorts of fun wherever you go.

Well met, Thes!
Welcome and looking forward to your posts and pics. A bit of warning, Rangering can be addictive!

Yeah, sadly a month in and I'm still getting settled... Both of my daughters play competitive travel softball, and that is winding down for the year, though we'll only have like a month/month and a half off...
As for rangering, I've always done some of it, especially being an amateur mycologist in the spring... Gonna have to find new grounds to hunt for the season next year now... I've got a few weapons and I'll post some pics soon, one is an older sword one of my friends found long side the road in a trash pile, had no handle or pommel, just the blade and crossguard. Would like to find someone to be able to craft me one so it is a true hand and a half longsword... Right now I just have a wood blank on it for reference...
