MRL Deal of the day

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

Very Hobbity to my eye. These, a nice vest and some merkinstocks and you're in business. As to the latter, I keep looking for cheap knockoffs of those 'toe shoes' I've seen. Paint them your skin tone and glue on some fake fur and you've got Hobbit feet.

I want a pair of the 5 toes shoes... I love my barefoot shoes that I currently wear all the time.

Havn't posted anything of use to a ranger in a while, until now:

http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-363-gambeson.aspx

This is a cotton quilted gambeson for $49.50.

While not historically accurate, it looks good at faires and will help reduce the likelihood of seroius injury during practice. Not the best out there but the best for the price point.
