Hey there folks,

Pete starting something good which I'd like to continue. I'll be posting the deal of the day whenever something rolls along I think we may be interested in. Check this out!!!!

At that price it's the perfect first project sword. I my have to grab one and dress it up.

I picked up one of these several monthes back when they ran it as a Deal of the Day then. It's not a bad head but the haft is a rounded square, not very comfortable. I plan on reworking the shaft when I get a chance. My opinion: Good project piece but not real useable in it's present condition.

Well this ones not MRL but man it's a nice Long Seax. Scroll down the page and right after the tinker swords you'll see this beauty from Michael Pikula of Volund Forge. http://www.viking-shield.com/swords.html

Very nice piece indeed, at least in my opinion.

That's nice. Man this website has some interesting pieces. Just check out the Salamander Armoury Langseax on this page http://www.viking-shield.com/unique.html

Very expensive, but unique. The look doesn't appeal to me, but it may be someone's dream. "meteoric iron"; if this is true, awesome...

Doc Jim has a reputation to maintain. So I imagine it's true. I've seen him talking on anbother forum about using meteoric iron. Beautiful piece. I'd love to get my hands on it, but it would probably never go into the woods with me.

For today and I guess the weekend the deal is a feasting dagger.

8in blade 14in overall seems like it would be a good carry.

Here's a sword with a ton of project potential.....................

At $140 I'd snatch it up if I weren't already knee deep in sword debt.

That's the second time they've featured that one...they must be trying really hard to get rid of them. The price is lower than it was last time.
