Neat historical archery site!

I just ran across this looking for information on historically appropriate blunt points for - as I have learned not it's called - "woods roving." :)
He has lots of pretty well contstructed experiments it looks like on the capabilities of old British warbows:

As an aside - I'd never have thought of that forked point as a small game / bird head! I wonder how much trial and error went into inventing that thing?

Marks site is a gem, I've been a regular visitor for years now. Hoards of good info not only on historical archery but many good tips for the warbow shooter as well.
