A custom Strider's quiver.

Custom made for a guy that I've made a handful of LOTR stuff for. Huge thanks to Elleth for the buckle.

Oh that came out great! The little boot at the bottom (for the bow, right?) is an interesting touch. Have you had a chance to see how it works? I assume you need to take off the quiver to get at the bow, yes?

What did you use for a tongue? It looks made for it!

I fiddled around a bit with my short bow, and it works pretty well keeping everything in place. As for the tongue it's a piece of coat hanger that I hammered flat and rounded the tip.

Good gravy, that thing must hold two dozen!

The little boot at the bottom is, I believe, an actual feature of the original WETA quiver, yes?

Correct, I couldn't get a good look at whether it's a stand for the bow to sit on, or a loop for the bow to pass through, but I made mine a loop because it made the most sense.
