A few things I've been up to

A lot of reenactment level work is about learning appropriate historical crafts and skills. This board is for all general skills that don't have their own forum.

A few things I've been up to

Post by BrianGrubbs »

Greetings all!

I have not been actively involved in the conversations of late. Life/New job has been keeping me pretty busy, but I'm getting to the point where I have more time again, so of course I had to come back here! I wanted to jump back in with a few projects I've done in the past year.
First is a walking stick for my brother. Still working on cleaning up my forging, this is only the 7th or 8th forge project that I've done, but I was pretty happy with it.

Next is a hair slide that I made for my wife. The pattern might be familiar to some...

Lastly, a map of my own creation for a D&D campaign. I was pretty happy with it as well. Working on making a hand drawn map of the locations that I range.

Just a few random things! I'll try to get back to being involved in the conversations here. I've really missed interacting with the lot of you!

Nice work :P love the detail and the colors on the map
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

Oh yes! Looks just like something a certain Ithilien captain might gift to a certain hobbit. :)
