You take that back! I've been waiting/planning for an eventual infusion of archery. Fun! I know everyone has the tools to try this one.
So the goal is...hit a block target at the prescribed distance, and then draw a sword and make a simple cut?
I'm game. Might even kit up.

As for "not catching the bowstring on the sword pommel"...this is a basic skill we oughta have figured out, so I don't see it as a question of "Should we do this", but rather "We'd darned well better be able to do this."

So you're saying we shouldn’t use our bow to fire our sword?

What I took away from this statement...............Odigan HAS a quiver full of Albions !
I was seeing if I could put the arrow in the O. No dice but not to shabby considering I’ve hardly drawn the warbow all winter. I did manage to nail the two overlapped sections of privacy fence together though.
EDIT: Just so no one thinks I’m a wasteful ranger, that is in fact water badly dyed red from some dye I filched from my wife’s cake making supplies.

Bollocks. That was very fine indeed. I nearly followed your take with my entry and used my dirk instead of my sword. Is that the same seax you are pictured with in the recent MERS trek?
