Well, I think I have finally found what I am looking for at a price that is reasonable.....

I am gonna have it extended to 14" in height....with 3 closures and a small heel.....
Dye the sole edge dark brown and the rubber sole becomes invisible! Depending on what color they come....I may dye them dark brown.....I do a LOT of leather work....but have NEVER been able to make boots! EVER!
Wool stockings and a load of sno-seal and I am ready to go!

Just a FYI:
Armlann will do a 14" high Double viking (instead of 2 closures, mine will have 3), dark brown bull hide, rubber bottom sole and a small heel for $200 plus $20 to ship.

I like the look of the reverse fold boot. Make sure you post pics if you get the extended viking. Looks like it will take a long time though.
