It's called Thains Book, which the Red Book was renamed after Merry and Pippin go to live in Gondor in the Year 64 of the 4th Age. The book is corrected and annotated and renamed "The Thains Book."
Anyway the website cover places,people,food etc... taking all of their info from the books which ultimately is the best resource for for recreating Middle-Earth. It's all really in Depth. There is a great article on the Dunedain. If you go to the page "People Index" then go all the way to the bottom and click on "Rangers of The North" under the subject "Groups and Titles".
