you know dispite my vaguely dwarflike apearance (you cant tell by the pic but im 6 '3) i never really cared much for the dwarves. a xenophobic, militant, regimented society... reminds me of the Taliban (and not just becasue of the beards.) but i get where youre coming from and appreciate the compliment.

that axe was originally just @ eye level. i cut it down to have something powerful but still manageable. easy to use and not get fouled in a woodland setting. this one is still long enough though, to serve me well if it were needed on a shield wall.
