I finished this up today, did the rap with some ray skin underneath, and a small silver feather. I heat blued the fittings in of all places my oven in the kitchen. I have almost every thing Robert E Howard wrote, along with the Friends of Howard completing the Conan books. Any of those are marvelous, though he goes down a dark path some times. My chain is only 19 lbs, flat riveted so it is historically accurate. I do fight in it, the last turny I fraught in was 3 one hour matches with an hour break between each one. this is SCA style fighting, full force, full on. I did get that input on sword forum ( http://forums.swordforum.com/ ) but I thank you none the less. Those two are going to get cleaned up and sold, they are not my thing per say, but are very nice blades indeed.
