Re: A small Milestone for the Forum
It would be wonderful to get even a quarter of that number to be actively writing on the forum but I must admit that this has become as much a repository of knowledge and information, as it is an active club.

Re: Treasures in the mountains! Coin-caches.
Wow, we could all do some "Ranger Caching" Rather than simple GeoCaching. My Brother in Law got me interested in GeoCaching, he is a truck driver and does it all around the country. I will have to get him involved with this as a hobby, it is so much more meaningful than picking up a little...

No worries Taurinor! I have always felt you were great in stature and of good bearing. You are the type of man that a Dwarf doesn't mind looking up to!

Re: Dwarvish Axe
There were some interesting types mentioned in some of the supplemental materials in the MERP games since this is all conjectural anyways, it was fun to fool around with, not much Re-enactment value as far as the strict sense of pure sourcing for information. but it is nice to seed the imagination w...

Re: Working on a Bree-lander kit
Glad to see you back on the project! I have gotten a new wind and inspiration to jump back and start quantifying my kit. I have an assemblage of items that have been considered my kit. But I think I will go back to the persona during the time period of the War of the Rings when he was stationed in t...

You betcha! Mithril was not the only metal we were able to manipulate! There are alloys aplenty though many are somewhat experimental, so are not as well known. (wink)

Re: Dwarvish Axe
I have actually been working on my Thorin Raven pouch for a while and was rather disheartened by seeing this one when it popped up, but I think there will be a significant difference in our interpretations. Mine was to be part of the set I am making with the Goatskin haversack and the cup holder. Al...

Re: Pipe smoking
BTW I am starting to make some new pipes, let me know what it is you are looking for, I would truly enjoy making some very custom pipes for my Folk at Merf! A Dwarven pipe and the Halfling's leaf is a match blessed by the Valar!
