Re: Medieval Arrowheads

The Grendel's cave heads look a lot like the ones that Deepeeka and Hanwei sell. I've used them before, but they're hand forged so they tend to vary on socket width.

Re: Armors

I was just trying to explain to someone yesterday about historical plausibility. If people had the means to make something or do something a certain way, they very well might have regardless of whether or not any evidence has been found or if any illustrations show it happening.Though that kind of a...

It's an interactive map. You can click various regions and get all sorts of info. Sucks that it's not coming up.

Thanks! No base belt, I made it all from a half-hide of latigo. I do custom leatherwork at the shop that I work at.

For Ranger gear I'd bring my boots, my cloak, and my fire kit.

I took a picture of mine. You can see where I added an integral sheath for my by-knife and straps for whatever.

Re: MRL Deal of the day

Yeah it is the Tristan shirt. They have to change the name after the license expires.

I bought one of the steel shields when they were the DOTD a few months ago and modified it a bit to make it more "boromir-ish". It's awesome. Fairly light but can take a beating.

Re: Baldrics?

I've had problems with baldrics sliding around, too. But I've also had a few that were balanced well enough to avoid sliding. Once again, it's a preference thing.
