Re: True WMA in film
The Last of the Mohicans ... I was focused on the sword. Uncas / Chingachgook vs. Magua is my favorite fight scene, hands down.
The ambush scene in The Patriot is also good. Gangs of New York, comes to mind also, but I don't remember specifics fighting techniques.

Yes, super easy to make and always end up with way too much. I can't believe it's sold on eBay.

Re: Plans you want to see?
Six board chests are very common from medieval period. Mastermyr is a good example. Traveling chests would have no legs so they could be easily stacked, loaded, & un-loaded in wagons. The bench-type with legs provided seating and keeping the boxes out of the muck. I have made two small Viking be...

Re: Metal Shop
A buckler would be a nice intro, but I see some potential problem areas: *the deep dishing might need heating *the sloping of the radius could be tricky to maintain constancy *rolling the edge *handle needs to be positioned out or not too close I was planning on doing a shield boss this summer; This...

I have a small flask, formed with wooden blocks. Still need to line with bees wax or similar food safe materials.
