Re: For those of you planing on meeting at Fairs/Wars this year.

My girlfriend's grandpa here in this part of the country has a pair of horses I've been working with. One of them, Pepper, has become a good friend of mine, and I'm planning on asking him if he'll let me take her out on some of the trails near their small ranch. Naturally, garb would be in order, an...

Re: What's your preffered method of fighting for Rangers?

Alrighty, on the subject of ambushes: I'm now a resident of northern california. There aren't really any forests here. Certainly not big ones, at any rate. It's mostly farmland around me. I have to travel a fair bit to find land similar in any way shape or form to the forests I'm used to back home. ...

Re: Andy M?

I don't know, but I hope he shows up again soon...I need a new pair of boots as I prepare for the most epic rangering trek ever, and I was planning on conning him into making them for me. I'm in the primary stages of planning for the John Muir trail, so boots are going to be critical. If anyone know...

Re: New tunic

It looks like a long-sleeved tunic torso combined with a surcoat bottom half. Very comfy and convenient! Never heard of that style before; I like it!

Are you gonna have anything LEFT to go rangering with once all this stuff's been sold? Sheesh...you'd think you had a basement stockpiled like Pete. Then again...you probably do...

Re: Dunedain Star Brooch...

So it's kind-of a toss up between a six-pointed and an eight pointed star. If we could settle on a design (again, I'll have a bunch of samples by monday~ish) then I'd just post a poll to see if more of us like six or eight points, and then find a maker! As for the oak leaf background, that's somethi...

Don't use David as a standard to reach unless you feel up for losing yourself to the books for a few years. He's a linguist by nature.

Re: Dunedain Star Brooch...

The idea of having a longer point going downwards is kinda neat, but I think doing it on a 7-pointer makes it look like a flower, and less like a star.
