That is awesome! The dragon motif is particularly well-done and very appropriate!

Re: Comic book: LumberJanes

Years and years ago back when I was actually into comics, I remember when this comic first came out and it was generating a lot of positive buzz. I’ve never actually read it but I might need to check it out. I love cryptids and cryptid stories. Plus y’know, Scouting.

Re: Naming the Company

I have some thoughts on this for a later time but popping on real quick to say I like the use of “Warden/Wardens” as well. “Wardens of Emyn Uial” to use Eofor’s suggestion.

Hey Andy!

Are you looking for a historical source and reference for mittens, a pattern to make your own, or a trusted crafter to purchase from?

Re: The Sword Beneath the Cloak (Odigan work)

So I'm just now getting around to actually commenting on this but wow, Elleth, your sword is incredible. It's a real beauty and frankly, a real inspiration for me. The line "This feels like a brawler's weapon - not something intended for deeds of song on a bright sunlit battle plain, but rather...

Re: Participating in Middle Earth and Where We Fit

It's a pretty good outline and like Yavion, I am highly amused that the SCA is (rightfully in my opinion) assessed as a "Soft Larp." Unfortunately (?), I decided early on that Hard Reenactment is the only way for me and as a result, the process is slow. But I'm still working away at it bec...

Re: Dry goods and other musings

14 days is.... a lot. For my part I haven't done anything near those numbers, I tend to try towards air cured sausages as the fat content is much higher than in other forms of dried meat and while I haven't pushed them to 14 days I suspect that they would fare well enough in the right climate. That...
