Ai, Dúnedain! Mae govannen!

Post by Erucheb »

Hello, all!

I'm pleased to make the acquaintance of fellow Lord of the Rings enthusiasts! While I don't have any costumes or equipment, the Rangers have always been some of my favorite characters from Middle Earth. One of my biggest disappointments with the movies was that they replaced the Rangers with elves and dead men. Ah, well.

My particular interest in the Lord of the Rings is linguistic. My focus is on Sindarin, which I find more interesting than Quenya because it was the actual mother-tongue of most elves (save Galadriel). However, I have studied basically every language in Middle Earth other than Telerin.

I hope to have many good conversations with you all!

Namárië!
