Eriador quiver "kit" - any interest?

Post by Elleth »

SOLD

So some might remember my Quiver of Eriador.

For reasons, I ended up making most of the parts for *two* quivers - and the second has been laying half finished ever since:

Same walnut tanned dubbined vegtan leather, same custom bronze hardware.
It doesn't have the cargo straps that go around the quiver body, but I can include buckles for those, and a nice partially sewn wool tube for an arrow sock, along with enough heavy linen thread to finish the job.
Likewise some linen cord and a toggle for the drawstring.

Quiver is SOLD.

Oh man, that's gorgeous, and extremely tempting. I'm planning one or even two new quiversnfor myself soon in any event, but I'll likely be going with my own design. I'm particularly envious of the leathetr and the hardware, but perhaps I can talk to you a bit about those things when the time comes for my new one. Meanwhile I hope some lucky ranger snatches this up quick!

i see that this second quiver is sold, but i would LOVE the pattern for it!! am a craftsperson myself and building out my kit is tons of fun but my quiver is far over built for this get-up and if i could build your version, id fit right in!! the snapsak look awesome too, and i'd love a pattern for it as well!! this forum is exatly what i have been after, though it appears mostly unused now

Welcome, it's great to see a new face!

You'll find more pictures of the pattern pieces and some assembly lessons learned on the original thread, here:

http://middleearthrangers.org/forum/vie ... =27&t=3749

Will that serve?

Good luck!

doesn't look too difficult, but im terrible at measurements guesstimation. the urthgard thread images vanished so that may be the only 'pattern pic' there is if your pattern is lost in limbo (as many of mine usually are).

I'm pretty sure I still have the posterboard in my patterns box - I'll look for it and post some basic measurements this weekend.

In the meantime, this at least shows you all the pieces for two quivers, plus a spare spine. (I forget why I cut an extra one):

edit - I remember now why I cut an extra spine: also noted in original post so its easier to find.
