Way to get out there! Practice makes perfect, and that is a great shelter to experiment with.

You can get/make wool or leather gaiters to hide modern shoes.

Recently shepherds and whole flocks have gone missing in the remote high country bordering the Weather hills.
Although late in the season for travel such happenings cannot be ignored and so Eofor sets off to investigate grumbling into the cold.

A few photos from a pretty special living history hiking trip a few weeks back, snow here in Australia is difficult to find. On an exciting note my various supplies arrived and if I can just find a few hours to finalise a few bits and pieces I will have a proper middle earth impression to share at last.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.

Ha ha, thanks :P: although it wasn't really much of an adventure, it was to hot to go far, I literally just camped in a forest for a day LOL
