Interesting, particularly when just yesterday I was contemplating the different physicalities of Middle Earth races. Not just height but weight, where the center of balance would be. Center of balance would be helpful in knowing the physical limitations of what an individual could be capable of. Physical strength, agility would be good to know when trying to determine say, fighting styles, how they would ride a mount and what would be the typical size of their preferred mounts, the size and weight of loads they (the races) could carry.

Don't forget the Numenorean nobility's propensity for close relation marriage. Keeps the elven/maiar genes higher.
