anyone work with stone?

Post by Elleth »

I'm trying to find someone who might be able to help out with a project, and so far etsy isn't much help.
I'd like to get a small rectangle cut from a piece of marble tile, and hemispherical "watercolor palette" divots ground into the top face.

Does anyone here have the tools/knowhow or contacts to pull that off?

If you're struggling with googling for such a thing, might I recommend a new search term/vocab word: Lapidary. Good luck!

My pa suggested contacting a local sandblaster. Apparently that's how things are cut into funeral headstones and stone monuments?? Worth a try.
