A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

Good Luck with it. Even if you just clean it up you should easily be able to get twice the current price if you relist the auction with a copy of the catalog page for documentation.
I had most of the MRL catalogs up until about 10 years ago when I gave them to a friend who expressed an interest in the early catalogs.
Funny, just this past week I finally snagged the one catalogue I was missing from my collection, No. 36.
Surprised you didn't keep the catalogues, if only to be able to ID the older stuff that crops up from time to time on fleaBay. Hope you got something nice in return - that was certainly a princely gift!
I sent them to him for no cost. He was is a gentleman and good guy and surprised me with a Barnes and Noble Gift card.
I also started copying all the swords on MRL on a computer. My youngest was given that computer so I'm not sure if they are still on it or if she wiped it out. She's autistic so she might just have deleted everything, I'll have to see.
This is an early Windlass copy of a Del Tin sword. I've handled both, while the copy is not nearly as nice as the Del Tin, it is certainly worth about twice as much as the current asking price and would make a great project sword.
This auction is currently @ $99 for two sword blades, a guard and a grip. The blades are a Windlass and an A&A blade The A&A blade alone is well worth the current price= This can be a great deal for those who want to make their own sword but can't forge a blade.
A two handed Falchion- the picture makes the blade look really banged and nicked, however if you look real close you'll see that it's photoed on some fleece like material. The blade is supposed to contain only some staining.
