When my work computer crashed (we got hacked), all my passwords were lost in the rebooting.
By the time I was able to log-in, MER had decided that my password no longer was valid and the admin people were unable to repair the problem nor were they able to give me a working password.
So I had to re-register as a new person.
Hopefully, they will eventually fix the problem and I can return to my original profile.
