Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

East Glacier is wonderful! Last time I was there was in April a few years back. It was still covered in snow banks which made it extra beautiful. Your kit looks awesome! Kudos for getting out in the wild!

Too short! But a lovely part of the world it seems.
For solo trekking have you considered a Bluetooth shutter?
They're tiny, cheap, fit in the palm of your hand and really helpful for solo photography.

But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.
