Unfortunately, I just got lucky. My wife drew them out freehand

I have a wool ruana cloak that I've been working on a bit, but progress has been slow with life being what it is. My coworkers at the museum I work at gave me a box full of old wool blankets and fabric that the museum costume department never used, so I have more than enough material!

It really is. And there's a few moth-holes in them, so free weathering!

Putting together my first kit for a multiday trek in October. I've been making leather pouches. Just making random sizes from whatever pieces I've gotten from Tandy Leather's $5 remnant bags.

Like your stitching. Is it a spcific style, or your own devising?redhandfilms wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 6:22 pm Putting together my first kit for a multiday trek in October. Re: What's everyone working on?
Thank you.
The large buckskin was saddle stitched inside out then turned.
Top Left was whip stitched on the bottom.
Left one was kind of a combo whip stitch and saddle stitch. Don't really know what it's called. Basically do a saddle stitch with 2 needles, then loop one over the edge and back in the same hole.
Bottom, black pouch was mostly whip stitch.

Re: What's everyone working on?
Working on a leather costrel. It should be about 2 liters when done. I don't normally do much leather tooling, but couldn't leave such a large piece blank. I'll paint the tree white. The rest will only be colored/finished with beeswax.
