Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

I've only been once, about 8 years ago, passing through on my honeymoon but I'll always remember the bar we stopped at in Killin, Scotland. The Falls Of Dochart Inn was beautiful. We only stopped for lunch and a pint while driving through. Wish we had stayed there.

Now that does look like quite something, it's a little far out of the way for my next planned Scotland trip though

I visited Wales's oldest inn this weekend and thought it may be of interest. 900 years old and still going.

Never been there but The George in Norton St Phillip, Somerset looks worth a mention. I believe it was the inspiration for Magnum's album cover On a Storytellers Night by Rodney Matthews.
