The Gwelf Survival Guide!!
I have a feeling this might go over well, especially for those of you with some ranger-y kiddos.
The artist describes it as rather "Lord of the Rings meets Wind in the Willows"
I've just signed on, and it looks like it's going to be a grand project!

Looks like it could be fun

Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

Whelp, I just discovered this randomly on Instagram and I'm completely sold. This artwork is one of my favorite things in a long time. Simply amazing stuff from Larry MacDougall. And check out his Tom Bombadil!

That Bombadil looks like he's been into the mushrooms something fierce.
Oh! I did get the book when the kickstarter came out - it was a delight! The setting was very fun, I would have absolutely adored it growing up.
The bad guys might be a little creepy for young tots, but for slightly older kids - highly highly recommended.

Hah, he is rather Rasputin-ish, isn't he? I can see how ol' Bombadil could be seen as a creepy forest spirit and this picture is definitely along those lines. I don't know if that's what the Professor was intending but I like it.
I think I might order the book this weekend. I can't get enough of his art!
