I just saw this on Reddit and I'm curious if anyone here has any knowledge of it. I've got no affiliation with them, but seems right up our alley.

Warriors of Middle-Earth
WOME is a live action roleplay inspired by the events of The Lord of The Rings.
Here you will help the Dunedain rangers defend the town of Bree and investigate dark forces that may be present.
The Dunedain rangers have occupied a fort near the town of Bree after multiple orc attacks have terrorized the town. This is where you will join them. Bree stands as one of the last free Northern towns for the race of men and if it falls, then so too shall the race of man in the North.
Orcs have infested the surrounding area - killing locals, corrupting lands, and spreading misery everywhere they appear. The Dunedain have put a call out to any and all people for assistance in beating back this dark presence.
