First ride!

Well I've finally got past the groundwork stages and have started riding my 2.5 year old stallion Ranger. Our first and all of our subsequent rides went off without a hitch below is a pic my lady took of our first ride together 8) I love this colt!

Kit pics will be forthcoming for both me and him as I improve my leather skills I plan to have him a tooled headstall made before long. I'm very proud of this guy as he has literally been perfect to work with I really got lucky in the draw with this one as he is spirited and athletic but hes not skittish or flighty. He shaping up to be a great companion. He may not be a million dollar horse but a million wouldnt buy him 8)

many thanks for the kind words on my horse, forgive me if I dont pass them along hes already got a high enough opinion of himself :lol: hes a great colt but humility isnt his strong point :lol:
