The Riddle Game

Re: The Riddle Game
I'm not much of a riddler, but I'll give it a shot.
The strongest of five from forgotten shores
tainted was he by an evil lore,
defeated by the riders and the trees
he enslaved the little ones happy and free.
This is probably way too easy...but it's all I can come up with right now. I think I'll start practicing a bit.

Yes it is !
Re: The Riddle Game
I am exceedingly fat,
Though when I came of great age,
Great riches I had,
And I walked on twelve legs.
Though when I came of great age,
Great riches I had,
And I walked on twelve legs.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Bombur?
Re: The Riddle Game
Correct. Bombur needed six Dwarves to haul him around when he was older. :p

Re: The Riddle Game
A serpent swam in a silver urn
A golden bird did in its mouth abide
The serpent drank the water, this in turn
Killed the serpent. Then the gold bird died.

An oil lamp!
I am Ringulf the Dwarven Woodsman, I craft leather, wood, metal, and clay,
I throw axes, seaxes, and pointy sticks, And I fire my bow through the day.
Come be my ally, lift up your mead! We'll search out our foes and the Eagles we'll feed!

Re: The Riddle Game
Ever and ever upwards I climb,
Shadow and Light passed me through;
The conflict seemed a timeless time,
Until at last me they slew.
