New Finds- Please read the first post before replying

A central place to talk about weapons and armour, as it relates to your kit. This is where you show it of or talk about making it. Discussing the relative merits of types of weapons goes in the WMA section.

Dang... dang dang dang... That is SOOOOOOO tempting... I've been meaning to sell my flintlock, and if I did, I'd totally have the money.... nuts...

EDIT: Whoops! Sorry! I completely forgot that this thread is only for posting links! In future I will keep the commentary off of it.

Windlass Old German Longsword this model doesn't support a complex hilt like the German longsword most associate with Windlass:

I've had one of these and the Del Tin one it's modeled after. It's not a bad sword for the money, the Del Tins nicer but if you can find a used one it would be about twice the price.

A lot of folkes have wanted to try their hand at making their own bows and at these prices you can afford to screw it up once or twice:

This sword has gotten some good reviews, so if it doesn't go over $200 it might be worth it.

Check out the rest of his offerings too. I only singles this one out because with a little work it would make a nice brokeback sax.

Allan Foundry Axe:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261073128148?ss ... 1423.l2649

The starting bid is $25 and they sell new for $43 so if it stays reasonable go for it.
