Yes they are. These are the most comfortable boots/shoes I've ever had. They are a little bit of work to get on and off but other than that they're great.

I put a few of my favorite mess items together for a picture, I am privalaged to live down here in God's waiting room and as such have countless thrift stores and knick knack shops within a h30 minute radius.

It seems many of us as we get to that point in our lives when we realize we can't take it with us, decide to sell it all and have a party before we go!

So yeah oodles of old cool stuff that is hard to pass up!

Have fun, I did!

Nice pile of stuff...I like the copper cups and the wooden, brass-belted tankard myself.

Seeing as you've been into some form of reenactment or another for some time now, do you think you might have some contributions to this thread?

Unfortunately Greg, my computer experienced a whopping virus that shut it down completely two weeks ago, can't even get to windows.

We are using my son's computer as the family computer right now, which is fine, but doesn't have all my pics on it. I can do a bit of my Larp and SCA stuff since they are on my photobucket, but nothing earlier (which are the more interesting and embarassing)

There are various bootable CDs available, generally free, that might help. At the least, you can boot from a CD, put in a flash drive, and copy your data, photos, etc. off of it before nuking it. We can get into more details in another thread, if it would be useful to you.

Nice kit. While I agree browns and greens are optimal it's a great start.

A very nice outfit! hard to go wrong with the darker stuff, always a shadow you can slip into! I think the stereotype of only theives, assasins and evil wizards wear black is getting stale anyway!

It is all part of the light needs darkness as contrast kinda thing. Look at Luke in ROTJ!

So just be "The Nacht Drenger!"
