hey all... relatively new here, but have a few posts on the woodcraft forum. I'm an herbalist in southeast michigan, and have a two DVDs on medicinal plants. Most of the plants discussed in each are common throughout the northeast, midatlantic and great lakes bioregion (one was filmed in michigan and one during a walk I did at the international herb symposium in Massachusetts). But many of the plants aren't uncommon elsewhere (providing there's some green where you live).

It may be useful to know that the information presented isn't stuff I've read and am regurgitating; I'm an actual, practicing herbalist, and I pick and make pretty much everything I use. All the info presented is based on first hand experience using the plants myself, or in some cases shared stories from other herbalists I know. There's not a single herb I talk about or use that I haven't used myself.
(I also make salves, oils, tinctures, and other potions from local wild plants, if anyone is interested)
