Dwarven rune translator

Post by Khaehaub »

I have found a neat dwarven rune translator. Sam and I were talking about the Elvish and the dwarven rune languages, so I decided to find a translator for dwarven runes. The link is http://derhobbit-film.de/rune_generator.shtml

Yes I have this one saved! I like this one.
So, from what Sam had mentioned you must be the friend who enjoys the Dwarves of Middle Earth.
Do I take it correctly then, that you may want to represent yourself as a Dwarven Ranger? Or would you be more comfortable as a human Khazadophile?
I am Ringulf the Dwarven Woodsman, I craft leather, wood, metal, and clay,
I throw axes, seaxes, and pointy sticks, And I fire my bow through the day.
Come be my ally, lift up your mead! We'll search out our foes and the Eagles we'll feed!

Yes! I am the friend that Sam speaks of. I am a dwarven ranger even though my name does not coincide with what dwarven names should look like.

Dwarves pick up their "use names" from the people they most associate with and live near, a Dwarf's Khazad name is never spoken by or to any but Dwarves themselves so, your name may be just as correct as any other!

That's good news. Khaehaub his actually a derivation of an old nickname of mine(khaub). Sam changed it to kaehaub for the dwarf I made on Lord of the rings online. I then added an h to make the official Khaehaub in which is the actual name of my dwarf on lotro. So my name could very well be a unique dwarves name.

Most of my toons are of lower level on both Crickhollow and Landroval but I have a Dwarven Kinship on Winfola called the Scarlet Ursurs (Have a Kin house in Bree homesteads since I was trying to launch out to Moria.) Look for Aribjorn and Ringulf on that one and I will send you an invite!

Will do. My dwarf on silverlode was only a level 12, so I will probably continue with the name khaehaub.

I don't know if you saw my message, but it said that I would be on at 5 for about an hour, then wouldn't be on until later this evening.
