Ranger Thanksgiving in Tennassee

A lot of reenactment level work is about learning appropriate historical crafts and skills. This board is for all general skills that don't have their own forum.

Ranger Thanksgiving in Tennassee
We went up to see the folks this year and though it was a bit more low key we had the opportunity to do some throwing and were joined the next day by some of the family. these pics were taken by Brandwyn as were the short videos I hope the vids come out I have never worked with them before.

First off another addition to Ringulfs Wall of Shame

And then a little bit of Longaxe throwing

This is my new axe it seems to have been the "viking" model sold in the Panther Pavillions catalog among other places I got it for next to nothing at a yardsale on a poor handle and put it on the handle from the CS warhammer. It is absolutly wonderfull to throw two handed overhead from the 20 ft mark.

And the fundamentals of a little game we call "Loki's Legs"

I am Ringulf the Dwarven Woodsman, I craft leather, wood, metal, and clay,
I throw axes, seaxes, and pointy sticks, And I fire my bow through the day.
Come be my ally, lift up your mead! We'll search out our foes and the Eagles we'll feed!
