Hi all,
A few years ago my wife bought me a baldric off Ebay and for the longest time it has been packed away but I took it out recently and started messing around with it. It's actually a Cas Iberia back scabbard, used for claymores, and what I would like to do is use it as a regular baldric. Here's a pic:

I've taken off the small scabbard so now I am left with the the lower part, but in this pic for the regular baldric:

there are two pieces of leather which to lace a leather thong through to secure the scabbard. With my now scabbard-less back scabbard, I have only the single strip that is cut for buckled straps. So...any ideas out there?
