And thank you Pete, black and oxblood is my favorite combo on leather. It's not the most traditional for a Ranger, but the oxblood gets dark enough to look very earthy so I think it works if not overdone.

So the oxblood strap also forms a keeper for the by-knife too? I like that touch.

Thanks! Yes, the strap from the main belt that runs under the by-knife keeps a snug pressure fit and the small braided one adds a little extra security.
