I too would like 'Mirkwood' as my desktop........ Any objections Iodo?

Wow! What an incredible setting for a journey through Middle-earth! Absolutely stunning! I cannot get enough of snowy winter forest-scapes like these!! Your dwarf kit compliments your surroundings perfectly!

nah... I just needed someone to take photo's, so far my dad is the only one I've ever persuaded to dress up but he hasn't got nearly enough kit for weather like that

Had a ranger gathering recently, here's the pics of me from the event (I have the grey hood and cloak). The rest of the pics from the gathering are on facebook, if theres interest I might be able to link the post? I'm pretty close to having a full working kit, just need to get food nailed down.

It's nice to see rangers out and about.
It proves the grass is always greener on the other side of the mountain.
It's buried under white around here.

Another couple of images from recent gatherings/adventures:

winter tarp and bedroll setup - reasonably warm, especially with a fire.

Yeah, I love these. They're inspiring me to watch for and seize opportunities as our spring advances here.

I had the joy this weekend of having young Aranor accompany me on a trip down the Greyflood. He had to put up with me singing 'Hey Tom Bombadil!' but seems to have somehow enjoyed himself despite that.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.

SO JEALOUS!

ALSO... I have totally been wanting to try floating a coracle these last couple years, and just don't have a willow big enough to make one (or time, really) - I know there are makers in the UK, but does anyone know of a maker here in the northeast US I might pester?
