Eucalypt is a family with literally hundreds of trees in it.

Generally its not considered a carving wood, far easier options out there.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.

It is definitely not an easy wood to carve, crazy grains that like to pop out.

Right now it's just sealed with super glue, then buffed out. I know some wood turners who do that with wooden goblets.
