New knife I am working on and also a test if I can post here more.
This is a complex knife I am making in my Beorning style. It has sandwich construction with wrought iron sides, engraved and handle of maple, antler, bronze and garnets.
I am making sheath for it right now.

Amazed!

I can easily see this as a knife as the first-generation Beorning noble, Steel from the Iron hills and Erebor would have flooded the market.

I finished the sheath for it, including specially made bee stamp.

Well you already know that I love it Gulli. The layers of detail, from the bees and honeycomb through to the bear pommel cap.

I did wonder at leather being used given Beorns clear aversion to anything animal based in his home but then I remembered that he skinned a warg so I assume this is the leather of some similar fell beast?

Gulli thank you for the detail pictures of your beautiful work. Pictures are worth thousands of words.

A picture I think that would be most educational would be the knife and sheath surrounded by all the tools used to produce them.

Again well done from someone who has spent the last 50+ years making things in a small shop environment.
